Jeremy Johnson: ‘I was just smiling all day’

I've seen this kid play in person, twice this year. First, against Auburn HS, who he totally dominated, and second, against Opelika HS, who he lost to, but was still very impressive. And I remember he annihilated Prattville. I agree with some of the posters that he may very well be competing for the starting job, NEXT YEAR! Things are only looking up!

The defense guys don't know what to say yet, because the DC is not there yet. A solid hire at DC will help them make up their minds. Malzahn would be a fool not to make a good DC hire, and Malzahn is no fool.

I kinda hope Jeremy can get the RS. I expect Frazier to be a different QB and Wallace could fit in well with what Gus wants to do. I guess playing Jeremy a little wouldnt be awful but if we could get Frazier Senior, Wallace Junior and Johnson as a Redshirt Freshman... thats pretty nice.

Sorta strange that al.com posted this quote from Johnson today (article was about 2 hours ago):
Carver-Montgomery quarterback Jeremy Johnson also appeared on the program to discuss his recruitment. The four-star signal caller just wrapped up his senior season with a loss in the state semi-finals and said he will take his time to make a final decision about recruiting.
"I'll wait until Signing Day to make my final decision to see what's the best fit for me," Johnson said.
While Johnson remains committed to Auburn, he plans on taking visits to Ole Miss and LSU."

I am very excited about this kid. I am also hoping to see Kiehl Frazer now that he is back with Malzahn.I beleive they seriously hampered his talent this year, trying to make him something he is not. We could possibly have a real three way QB race next year.
