I have a story that really made me feel good about our Auburn family. My grandpa was in Austin to watch my 10 year old cousin's football scrimmage. A man walked by wearing Auburn shorts and a shirt. The man sitting next to my grandpa knew who the man in Auburn gear was and asked him why he was out there with his kids all grown. The man told him he just loved football so much and wanted to teach the kids the game.
My grandpa started talking to the guy next to him later on and he told my grandfather and said the man has a senior on the Auburn football team who plays receiver. I knew right then that it was Jeff Blake. It made me feel proud to hear that parents of Auburn students are representing the university so well.
