Does he know where the bodies are buried? How else can you make an argument that he shouldnt be fired? He's not going to want to hire a home run. He'll instead settle for someone he knows, someone who doesn't require top dollar or top control. So, I guess he'll hire Gus. Maybe he takes a look at Roof also. JJ really casts a wide net.

I don't think there are any bodies buried anywhere. This is a common misconception when people or staffs are not let go.
I just believe that President Gouge genuinely likes the man and is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and another shot. With that in mind, I'm starting to wonder if JJ will offer the same consideration to CGC. I am praying for a change at all levels, but readying myself for the worse.

Consider to the Univ Prez, is really ready to retire, and has been. Who can blame him, he has done "his time". But this creates a perfect storm of "powers that be" who really just seem to be disconnected. And likely could just keep the status quo.
