  • I hope he does well, why not. Doesn't seem like a bad guy or anything.

But let's all read and see the humor in this statement....

"People are always saying that I'm a bust. I want to show them I'm not. I'm committed to this now."

I want to show them I'm not? Too late for that.

I'm committed to this now? Committing now doesn't erase the damage done by not committing when they were paying you $39 million.

Good luck to him....but if you ask me, some of those comments by him show that maybe his head and perspective still isn't quite right. If I had to guess, and I hate to assume this, but if I had to guess....I'd say he's running low on money. Maybe not, just a hunch.

I agree JA. Good luck to him. He doesnt seem to be a bad dude or anything....But honestly I almost wrecked my car laughing so hard when my morning talk show said he was making a comeback!

They also said he is getting into playing shape...He is down to 308 from 320..Y'all think its hard to bring Cam down at 250.....It would be like tackling Warren Saap!

He turned out to be the poster boy for what is wrong with giving rookies contracts bigger than established stars and making a huge part of it guaranteed whether they ever play a down or not. He had his big payday and didn't want to work for his money.

But back to his comeback, I recall when he was at LSU he wasn't all that accurate throwing out of the pocket but when he was on the move he would make passes that were astonishing. I don't hold out much hope for his comeback.
