Any chance Gus is going hard after a dual threat JUCO signal caller? I think we need one to increase our chances of success in the offense next year.

You make a fair point, but there is a cost with bringing in a JUCO QB. We have a junior and a sophomore who each received playing time, and a very talented freshman coming in (actually two). There is a point where depth at a position where usually only one guy plays hurts recruiting. If there is another Cam or Russell Wilson out there by all means - go for it. But is there a JUCO QB out there we are sure could come in and outplay Wallace and the rest?
...Actually as I read my argument as I write it it it sounds more like I'm proving your point more than mine...

It wouldn't take a Cam or a Russell Wilson to give us significant improvement at the QB position.

Yeah, I can't argue with that.
Gus's record shows he is an exceptional QB tutor so I expect improvement out of all of them, but you are right - none has really shown enough to say bringing in a good JUCO QB isn't a fair idea.

I think we have a QB in our system who is going to excell in the HUNH offense. He plays the game at 110%, studies, and learns. I believe people are really going to be surprised at just how good Jonathan Wallace can be. He doesn't have Cams size, but he is fearless. He showed glimpses last year when thrown into the lions den 5 months after graduating high school. Once J Johnson learns the Malzahn way, he is going to be a beast, as is Jason Smith at WR (assuming he moves to this position). JMO

There doesn't seem to be any room for another QB.

Auburn doesn't have any current plans to sign a JUCO quarterback in this class.

I think it could possibly have an impact on JJ in we sign a JC quarterback. I don't see the benefits being worth the risk.
