Why do we pay for this information if we don't "NEED" to know it. Its a legitimate question.

For what little it's worth, here are a few thoughts:

1. I'm not sure Jonathan's exact age but if he's an incoming sophmore, he's very likely underage in Alabama. What is public news about him is most likely held to a different standard because of his age.
2. We pay $10 a month for news on Auburn sports; not rumors. The standards of this site are of the highest level of journalism. That's why I'm a member. I'll hear rumors in many other places. I come to AUC because here I can find reliable facts.
3. Not everything that happens on the Auburn football team is news. It may have actually happened. It may be a fact but that does not mean that it is news. News is relevant to understanding. Fortunately, Phillip, Bryan, and Ron have the judgment to know the difference. Again, I trust their professionalism.
4. Finally, Charles Rose is one of the finest men to wear an Auburn uniform. If Jonathan has gone home to get things straightened out, he is in good hands.
