Is a win over Ole Messy a foregone conclusion?

I am afraid that our team will struggle from lack of support if the fans do not show up as rowdy for this game as they were for the Florida game. People seem to be overlooking a very good 2-5/0-4 ball club. Our ball club just took a very disheartening whipping in Bats-on-Booze, LA, and for them to come back home to a lack luster home crowd, they may play to flat and take another tough loss on the chin. The game is not on national television, it is not being talked about, and quite honestly, most fans have given us a 6-3/4-2 record without playing one second of the game. These kids need to feel the energy of support to fight for a win that is going to be plenty tough get. In my opinion, if we do not get the support needed and the players do play flat, we will be 5-4/3-3 and really sick about the season. Show support this weekend before and during the game. Do not wait until Monday to cry about everything that is Auburn football.

This is a night game at Jordan Hare dude. The crowd will be in it unless we are getting blown out.

I hope you are right. After the tough loss to LSU, the feeling that I am getting from fans of 20+ years is we will win this one, have an off week and get stoked for a big game against Georgia. It is like everyone is overlooking this game. I think the season ticket holders (the diehard), will be selling tickets or not showing up for the game. I hope it is a sellout, the crowd is rowdy, and we blow Ole Messy out. The game just has an eerie Halloween feeling to me.

I know there is always an extra player (the fans) and maybe seeing this game as a give-me but saying that, I'm pretty sure the coaches and players are taking it seriously.

If the coaching staff is who I think they are...they will have the team ready to play OM...But that doesn't mean OM won't be ready to play also.

I won't , but I have seen this before! Our team is going to play like this is Florida Atlantic and Ole Messy will play like it is the SEC championship! Coaches can preach until they are blue in the face, but if the players view their opponent as a push over, they typically play flat. This is one of the fallacies of a young team.
