Is Southern Cal's failures having consequences?

BM - Lane kiffin and the USC Trojans pretty much mailed it in the last games of this season. It was almost a "championship or bust" mentatlity. For a team that was rated number 1 in preseason poll to lose 6 games is major disappointment. Did he "lose the team"? His arrogance at the Sun Bowl just showed how much of an ass he is. I notice they are ranked #1 in recruiting ratings. Will this affect any of these recruits? I don't think Auburn is going head to head for many of these recruits but are there any that Auburn could try for?

Want hurt USC at all. Kiffin relates to alot of these athletes. His attitude seems to appeal to today's athletes. Why, I have no clue. Never been much of a coach whereever he has been and never will until he decides to grow up. But, the dude can recruit and so can his staff.

I hope the AD doesn't fire him. Him and Mack Brown do the least with the most and it makes me smile like the Grinch each season.

I doubt it... when you're university is located in sunny southern california, there are much more things to do besides worry about Lane Kiffin. Hard to recruit against that school, regardless of their dumbass coach.

Don't forget that USC is the main attraction in town for football.....no nfl.....wannabe Hollywood types hanging out of the sidelines....I live in Cali and I know most of my USC fan friends do not like him....and they only tolerated Carroll when he was winning big....sounds like most fans.....

The problem for USC is the NCAA sanctions will really start to take effect next year. It's gonna be all down hill for Lane Kiffin.
