This provides some insight into our coaches thinking at the time. Clearly, they didn't think this day would go like this; otherwise, Brown--a quality prospect, would have received an offer. So, just as clearly, a lot has happened within that week. This is why I'm not as inclined to buy into the all the speculation about updyke media, lack of coordinators, etc because the staff obviously felt good enough a week ago with the projected haul not to offer Brown. The question is what happened in the last week? What is even more interesting is that it's not one school that we are losing out to but several: Bama, LSU, FSU, UGA, and even TCU. So, it's not just one approach that has worked against us here in the last few days.
