Easy there Colonel! I don't think he's being a hypocrite, I think Rob Moss is standing on principal. Whether you agree with him or not I would think of all the people on this board you would understand his conviction. Unlike the OP many of you resorted to name calling instead of seeing his deeply held belief in Auburn as a special place.

The place this board has apparently gone to is depressing. It used to be a place where adults could disagree without all the childish trash talk of other sites.

I'm getting so sick and tired of this "high and mighty" bs... If you or anyone who shares this sentiment would turn your back on Auburn University because of a coaching hire, then I honestly hope you do turn in your stuff and don't show your face on campus ever again. I will support whoever the university chooses because I love Auburn. Do I think that BP has demonstrated character flaws? Absolutely. Am I willing to cast judgment on the rest of his life? Absolutely not. If he's hired at AU, he'll be expected to uphold set standards and if he does not, he won't remain. I believe he's probably learned from his mistakes and is looking for a chance to redeem himself. I also believe he gives AU the most likely chance to have the success that we expect. It's unfortunate that some people will be so closed minded as to think that no one deserves a second chance. But as I said before, if you're that committed to your so called values, then don't wait for BP to be hired or not, why not move on now? AU doesn't need you.
