  • I'll be in Auburn on 12/8. I'll have all of my Auburn shirts, hats, flags, banners, etc in boxes and will deleiver them to the Athletic Department. I'll not wear anything Auburn after that. I've been an Auburn fan all my life but that won't matter anymore. If our President is so stupid to hire someone that knowingly and willing lied over and over again to his boss (another university president) as well as just about every other boss he has had then he needs to go. If our President is so stupid to hire someone that knowingly and willingly broke laws, then he needs to go.

    Well okie dokie. I just ask that you give TRUE Auburn fans a chance to rummage through your Auburn items first. Also, after CBP starts winning and keeps AU FB clean, you will not be allowed to buy AU stuff or tix for two years from the day CBP is hired.

    All this hinges, of course, on CBP being hired. He may or may not be hired. It is funny how some AU FB fans are so high and mighty that they think people don't deserve to come to AU. So hypocritical.

  • Oh Well, NO one is even close to being perfect so why not have some fun at a football game, for once, instead of worrying about what is happening behind the scenes? The national media already dislikes us and openly laughs at Auburn so what do we have to lose? I'll probably be shown by someone on here how wrong I am, but so be it.shrug

    If that's what you want to do, then do it. I was outraged when Chizik was hired and no one cared. Unless you're a big money donor and I mean BIG money, no one will care what you think. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

    Oh, and what laws did he break? This is a very common criticism from BP detractors. But can you cite the Arkansas statute or Federal Code Section?

  • Always remember Auburn people are their own worst enemies.

    I didn't want Chizik but still donated, bought tickets and celebrated when we won the BCS. At the same time, I didn't celebrate when he was fired, I was ready to move on. We are hiring a football coach and need the best coach we can get. CBP may be that man. I don't believe that he will not screw up again and will be in Auburn a long time if given the chance.
