I wish AU would go ahead and pay these great coaches

  • I wish we would go ahead and show the love with some money but I also think it should be some great BONUSES for them making it to SEC Championship and NC. Its gonna be hard for us to try to compete with Jones money... I hope he stays with us and it would send a word to recruits if he did stay IMO

  • We consistently have one of the highest paid staff of assistants in college football. To expect to compete with NFL money....especially Cowboys-type money, is a little far reaching.

  • At this stage I would like to keep Bisaccia as well, but these coaches aren't starving to death. Let's see some results on the field before we increase their pay. If we win, they'll get more dough. The assistants' combined salary comes close to 4 mil per year spread among nine people. That ain't chicken feed...

Auburn is in the top five highest paid football staffs in the country. You don't hire people away from other people with bonuses.
