I hope someone lets the dogs out

  • of the doghouse that apparently they were in last year that kept them off the field. Maybe this year playing time will be rewarded because of merit not favoritism. Its hard to fathom why seemingly more talented players remained on the sidelines when ineffective players kept taking the field.

    No pun intended but:

All good dogs are taught obedience and to respect their handler. If such attributes are there, then all good handlers will not play favoritism and let the best of the best compete for First in Show. If not, they are left on the porch while the Big Dogs Run.

  • True. Yet you have some curs, some mutts, and some with registered papers. My point is this when you want to win the Kentucky Derby you can't do it riding a mule. Too many mutts saw the field because they were apparently more "friendly" with their "handlers". I hate to reference the Bear but he said it well "It's not the size of the dog in the fight. it' the size of the fight in the dog". Maybe this staff can teach some old dogs some new tricks like blocking, tackling, discipline, and teamwork.

  • I tend to agree...I could not understand why Demetreuce McNeil was kept on the sideline while our secondary was getting absolutely torched the last few games...

lol Hard to argue with that.
