Family of Michael Dyer say the rumors of MD transferring to Ark St is FALSE......
The family of Michael Dyer tells Fox 16 Sports Director David Raath that rumors of him transferring to Arkansas State are false. The family says that Dyer has not filed any paperwork requesting to be transferred.
If you have to ask why I love Auburn so much...never mind
Phillip - Do you think all of this is rooted in the Dakota Mosley situation? I know Dyer has expressed, quite strongly, that he didn't agree with the way his best friend was treated by Auburn. Seems like this has all been festering since about then and has finally boiled over. Any insights or opinions?
FWIW - I really like Dyer, my son is crushed by the idea of him leaving because he has loved watching him since high school and Dyer is his favorite player. I think we, as Auburn fans, owe a huge debt of gratitude to him for his work in the championship season and last year. I also thought it was pretty sorry to not include any video of him in the highlight video at the bowl game -as if he wasn't a huge reason for us even being there. He's a kid who made mistakes, all of them do. I sure did when I was his age, still do now in fact. Is his ego a problem? Quite possibly, he’s done things I don’t like for sure, but it bothers me that so many Auburn people are ready to throw him under the bus and pretend that we are better off without him. We aren't. Yes, we will be fine and we are loaded at RB and can adjust to his departure, but this team would be better with him there –any team would be.
