I really think that if the Aggies first game of the season had not been delayed, they'd be playing Notre Dame Monday night.
Had they played Louisiana Tech to start the year, there's a decent chance they would have beaten Florida the next week. Instead, they played Florida for game number one in a new offense with a new staff and a first year QB, and still almost won.
Had they beaten Florida, they would have been 11-1 and likely would have gone to the SEC title game after beating No. 1 Alabama. The way they have been playing, they likely would have beaten Georgia (soundly) and been 12-1 SEC champs.
They have the offense and defense playing really, really well right now. Could have been the 5th SEC team to win it all in the current streak.
Yep...a lot of "maybe" and "possibly" found in that scenario...but if you're the Aggies, you have to wonder what might have been.
