Staying focused is a BIG KEY! I was not always focused as a student, twice dropped out of school because of poor grades (but never flunked out), but always came back determined to bring my GPA up so I could graduate. I finally graduated in 1970, six years after I graduated from high school, with a 2.01 in Civil Engineering! When I interviewed for jobs, no one ever asked me my GPA, and I never lost a job I wanted because of that. An engineering degree from AU was significant enough (and I'm from Pennsylvania)! And I've had a "sterling career" despite my "marginal" GPA. In engineering school, "persistance pays off"! Good luck!
