I do not understand how the topics presented to this board are posted. It would seem to me that the latest entry would be on top for at least a few minutes until it was determined that there either was or was not interest. When I access the board I frequently have to scroll down the board, past several topics that have not been commented on for a good while, to see what has "been posted lately". How is the order determined?
The top posts are stickies made by the staff and kept at the top of the page until they remove the sticky. It is kind of like headlines in a newspaper so to speak. As fas as I know every message board does this.
