When Chizik was fired and the new coaching search began, I have to admit that although Malzahn was on my short list, he was not at the top. When he was hired, I was concerned about the quality of the assistant coaches he would be able to bring to Auburn. He is, after all. a young fairly new to the game head coach. I am totally blown away at the caliber of coaches he has reeled in! The fact that these coaches would leave schools at which they were thoroughly established and having great success to come and work with Malzhan speaks volumes about the type of coach we now have! He is definitely the man for the job, and I applaud our search committe for bringing him home to Auburn. The future is oh, so bright and I can't wait to see how our program soars over the next few years! War Eagle!
