"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
Wallace at this point. Far more upside than KF and better runner IMHO. Hasn't had the extensive practice time yet either. However, I won't rule out a KF resurgence based on watching Jason Campbell put it all together in 2004. I'm pulling for both guys to shine in Spring and give Gus a clear indication of a leader going into Fall when Marshall and Johnson are added to the mix. It will be interesting and fun to watch.
Frankly, KF is a big disappointment to me so far. I saw him play in high school, and was really excited about him coming to AU. He could run and throw, and I thought he was a perfect fit for our offense. But I didn't see much of that in 2011 (although I realize he didn't play much), and I saw absolutely no improvement in 2012. And I don't want to hear the excuse " ... the system in 2012 didn't fit him"! That's a bunch of bull - look at the replays. There were MANY times he was in the shotgun, had a WIDE OPEN receiver, and missed him by a mile! That's not the system, but the individual. SO, I saw much potential in Wallace, and he gets the nod!
"Those blue jerseys put the fear of God in people" -Pat Dye
KF has made plays passing that I don't believe Wallace is capable of making, but KF has appeared disfunctional under pressure at times (often). Wallace seems to be able to play consistently under pressure at a level more consistent with his skill level. If Gus is able to get KF to play consistent with his skill level, I think KF will be more productive than Wallace. That is a big if. At least one poster has pooh poohed (with absolute certainty) the idea of Marshall QBing, but I think the coaches are bringing him in because they think he could be the man. His position versatility just helped them to take the chance on offering him.
