I just wish one time they'd give the kid a chance at linebacker in a game that was already decided and see how he'd do. If he still did awful, then okay I'll drop it. Yes, I realize about how so many coaches have come through and said he's not a linebacker. I get that. Hell, I'd just like the kid to see more playing time. He tries and works so hard there's got to be somewhere they can put him to give him a little more time on the field. Don't get on me screaming that so many coaches know better than I do where he should go because I absolutely agree.
He's just one of those people that seems like a gamer and I'd like to see him on the field more regardless of where they put him. He has instincts with tackling that I don't see in everybody. Besides, of all the people that can't tackle, he's about the one sure tackler that I've seen us have. The fact he didn't get more playing time somewhere last season if he wasn't hurt was pathetic.
He is a greart kid with a lot of desire. That said, there are always going to be kids like that who, at best, will be second teamers.
Alabama delenda est.
