Sounds like we are selling tradition instead of gimmicks. That is what I take away from it.

I'm guessing he's saying that we are sticking with the traditional jerseys rather than being trendy and wearing gaudy new ones like many teams are doing.

Auburn sells itself if you have the right salesmen there to facilitate the transaction. It sounds like we do now. The hope is, we get the right guys to buy into it.

Sorry guys but I have been a fan since pat sullivan days and I'm all about traditions but adding a little flare to some new helmets and uniforms would be fun. I liked bellbottoms pants and long hair when I was a kid, not today. Changing to a more modern look has nothing to do with losing our traditions or our values. It has more to do with just staying current with the times and letting the kids have some fun.

bellbottoms changing to current style is not equivalent to changing the layout of an Auburn jersey. Bellbottoms were updated to more modern cuts and Auburn uniforms have too, we aren't still running around in mid-rifs and tear-aways.
I think our uniforms look even better with the newer sleek jersey cuts and smaller pads than they ever have before. This recruit seems to like it...

I think these recruits can smell the excitement around the program. These coaches have been putting in the work, and it shows. Coming down the stretch, business is starting to pick up with some guys that weren't in the picture not long ago. I can't wait to see who all we sign.
