Some of y'all are blinding yourselves to Darwin's discoveries of adaptive evolution, not monkey to man evolution. Animals and humans change physically and mentally over time depending on their environment. People tend to look at evolution as only black and white.
To say the earth is 5000 years old or 4.6 billions years is a blind shot in the dark, in my opinion. But to deny that the earth and ALL of it's inhabitants haven't changed or evolved significantly, is just plain ignorant. Did man evolve from an ape, I have no idea. Did man evolve from a single cell organism, good possibility, in my opinion. Was the earth uninhabitable at one time in it's past, very likely. Is it going to be uninhabitable again, most likely sooner than later is we don't make some serious changes.
No one should disagree with microevolution. Its observable and testable. Macro evolution? Well as Darwin said, he needed a few things to be true in order for his theory to gain validity. He knew nothing about dna or fossils. The more we learn, well, the more they still need missing links and positive persistant mutations that lead to new species.
kick 'em in the ass, big blue.
