Wow, I guess I still have to say Gary Patterson. I just hope Texas doesn't want him because if they do we're not gonna win that battle.

His discipline problems at TCU have been blown way out of proportion and taken out of context. He ordered the entire team to be tested before the arrests based on reports within the department that he had some, let me repeat some players that were toking.

A week or 2 later when some players were arrested (I think it was 4) and one of them reported during police questioning that 75 to 80 players were using, Patterson ordered the entire team tested. It stopped the problems immediately. Spring ball sucked for everyone, not just the perps. Guilty players faced internal penalties as is the case with every program. No need to air the dirty laundry in public. I think several players who failed to meet his penalties got to collect splinters this year or worse - got booted from the team. In the case of his star QB, well he continued to fail his pee test and was eventually sent off to rehab. I hope the kid gets straight someday.

Not certain on this next one but it's been reported locally that he started 14 Freshmen this year. And they started all year - so by the time they played Texas, they weren't really Freshmen anymore.
