My niece had a girl last year, a teenager, out of wedlock. I had heard that she was going to name her baby Crimson. When she came to my house, playing the devil, I asked what she whould name her baby girl, "Crimson" was her reply. I said, " What, were all the other colors taken?" When I asked where she got the name she said the baby's daddy was a big spuat fan and wanted that name. I asked if he was marrying her, she said no. My statement to her-if he isn't willing to give YOU his name then he has no right to name the baby. Then today met another spuat couple having a baby going to name her Crimson. What idiots! Would you ever think to name your child "Orangeandblue"?
I used to complain about having no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet
I could see someone naming a boy Blue. Cause you're my boy, Blue.
My sister in laws name is "Bama Nicole" and her brother is "Westerly Tide". She goes by Nikki and he goes by Wess. How do you like them Apples? I was the first in my family to see the light and my younger brother is now about to attend Auburn. I am working to build the army to fight the Bamas of the world. :)
"Auburn. I think of purity for some reason." - Lewis Grizzard
Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy - you know who
Let there be no doubt, I am indeed a proud Pop!! War Eagle!!
What about Sepia or Cornflower?
Then there's the redneck in Cullman who named one son "Bear" and the second one "Saban."
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
Auburn people feel a deep and passionate responsibility to uphold standards not written on paper, but lived from the heart.
Hating uga since 1892.
Back in the 80's their was a girl named Pepper War Eagle ***** (don't know last name) ... She went to UGA & I think she was a recruit hostess (like our Tigerettes). Just goes to show that tagging your kid with a name from your alma mater won't keep them from ripping your heart out and going to your bitter rival for college.
My son had a friend and her name was Crimson Mari. When she was old enough she changed it, dad was not to thirlled but he now calls her by her new name.
