***Chizik said they did a pregame run-through today and got a good amount of work on special teams, situation and the young players.

"We're a ways away and need some work," Chizik said.

***Chizik said they're in the process of narrowing down 2-deeps and special teams and who will be part of the playing rotation. He said they will finalize which freshmen will play and which will redshirt over the weekend.

***Chizik said the quarterbacks were better in certain situations today but there's no separation. He said they will name a starter before the first game. Staff will use this weekend to evaluate the last week and will need part of next week to make more evaluations.

***Quan Bray is likely Auburn's punt returner this season. They did live returns today and Chizik said Quan did a good job. Trovon Reed is No. 2 punt returner right now.

***Chizik said the team is a little tired and beat up and needs some time off. Auburn is not scheduled to practice again until Tuesday. They will start focusing more on Clemson Tuesday.
