***Chizik said it's a great opportunity for Auburn playing at Ole Miss Saturday. He said they're a good team that plays hard.

"You can really see them growing in confidence," Chizik said. "...Just a different team than Ole Miss was last year."

***No decision on the starter at quarterback. Chizik said they would evaluate both QB's and make a decision later this week. He said they would split the 1st-team reps Tuesday.

***Chizik said Quan Bray is back and will play this week.

"He's going to have to work his way back to whatever role he gets Saturday," Chizik said.

***Chizik said he understands the frustration by players on this team that are used to winning but he believes most are right on point as far as leadership goes. On comments from players about the need or lack of leadership...

"If you're going to ask a young man a question, you're going to get his true feelings."

***Chizik said their only goal is to go out to practice, work hard and win football games. He said the team needs to find a way to persevere through the tough times.

***Chizik said there won't be wholesale changes on offense. He wants to make sure they have a great plan and narrow their focus. He thinks they were trying to do too much against Arkansas and need to cut back and execute better. He wants to have a definitive plan on running the football and stick to it and wants to protect quarterback better, which includes QB getting rid of the ball quicker.

***Chizik said they need to get Jay Prosch on the field more this week. He said he's valuable as a leader and physical player and can be used more as a running back.

***Chizik said Tre Mason has done good things at running back. He said the fumbles at the RB position are frustrating.

***Chizik said Dee Ford and Chris Davis are a little beat up and they will know more as week goes on.
