***Chizik said his team is excited it's game week and the Clemson game is a great opportunity to measure themselves against a good football team.

"I think our guys are really into it," Chizik said. "Sunday's practice was really focused and locked in."

***Chizik said dealing with discipline issues and helping guys mature and grow into men is part of his job. He said they will be focused on their jobs Saturday and not let it be a distraction.

The majority of our kids make great decisions," he said. "It's been very disappointing a few have made bad decisions. When they don't we'll address it and try to help them, help them grow up."

***Chizik said he made it clear to Reese Dismukes that he will have to do everything asked of him to get back on the field. He made it clear to the team that Auburn is not about one player. Chizik said it will be a "unique challenge" for Tunde Fariyke to step into the starting lineup.

"That position is extremely critical," he said.

***Chizik said the biggest concern with Clemson's offense is stopping the explosive plays. He said they're aware of the pace they'll face.

***Chizik said Angelo Blackson is still in an inconsistent stage. He said there's not many spots on the DL where you can say there's a true starter and there will be continued battles at that position.

"They've got guys behind them that are going to push," he said.

***Chizik said Jermaine Whitehead and Ryan White really picked up the system well, which allowed them to win starting spots in the secondary. He said they will play a lot of nickel and there will be a lot of rotation in the secondary.

***Chizik said Corey Grant is still battling injury issues and is day-by-day. He said Robensen Therezie will travel with the team.

***Chizik said Erique Florence has been beat up this fall and Trent Fisher earned the job as the backup free safety.

"He seized the opportunity," Chizik said.

***Chizik said QB Kiehl Frazier is a very talented athlete that has worked very hard to get to this position. He said they expect a lot out of Kiehl against Clemson.

"We have a lot of confidence in him," Chizik said. "...I'm really excited about watching him play."
