***Chizik said Sunday's practice was very good. He said they worked on a lot of 3rd-and-long, blitz pickup and redzone. They did a lot of 1's vs. 1's.
"I thought there was a lot of energy. You could tell it was game week," Chizik said.
***Chizik said the starting OL will be Tunde Fariyke at center, Avery Young at RT and Greg Robinson at LT, John Sullen at LG and Chad Slade at RG. Alex Kozan and Christian Westerman will be the backup guards. Shon Coleman and Patrick Miller backup tackles, Sullen backup center. Chizik said both Kozan and Westerman were close to winning a starting position and one would probably be the next guy up.
***Chizik said he hasn't termed the length of Reese Dismukes' suspension but he won't play against Clemson. He's been very pleased with the play of Fariyke as his backup.
"We have a lot of confidence in him. Tunde is excited about the opportunity," Chizik said.
Congrats to Young
There it is
I like'em all! Great AU student athletes who will graduate AU men one day. I am pulling for all of them, especially for the "2-star"! You the man Tunde!!! See you in Atlanta.
With the Dismukes suspension, I think that is by far the best lineup, gives us the most experience possible with a strong interior core. Young looks physically ready. Strap it up boys! GAME WEEK!

"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
Orange and Blue like the Auburn sky, War Eagle till the day I die.
BM, why do you think the coaches didn't go with the more experience at center, since we have so much depth at some of the other OL positions? WDE!
BM, Kozan at Left OG and Westerman at Right OG as backups?
Auburn...a family tradition since 1905
Fearless and true.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
