***Chizik said they had a good practice tonight and the energy was up again. He said they've had two straight good practices.

"I feel like we improved and the kids are into it," Chizik said. "We've just got to polish things up tomorrow."

***Chizik said they have not named a quarterback yet but will be soon. It won't be a gametime decision.

***Chizik said Chris Davis and a couple of other guys are still banged up. He said Dee Ford was back healthy. Christian Westerman is banged up and won't dress this week.

***Chizik said they will need to substitute on defense as much as possible to keep up with Ole Miss' fast-pace offense, which is somewhat similar to Clemson.

***Chizik said Devaunte Sigler is making a little progress. He played some snaps against Arkansas.

***Chizik said Shon Coleman is still overcoming some health challenges but is getting a lot of reps every day and improving.
