Ok. Time to cut to the chase. We wiffed in our last plate appearance vs Dameyune Craig, and he would have been a huge 'get'. Hopefully Tracy Rocker will come on back once their season ends. Again, huge 'get'. But if Gus can somehow talk Rodney into coming home this time it will be the biggest 'get' of them all. He is a master recruiter. A true professional and does it all in a first-class manner. Go get 'em, Gus!

Dameyune Craig was not a "whiff." Regardless, nobody, and I mean nobody, hires every assistant coach they try to hire. Coaches have the same concerns other people have: Where will their families be happiest? Where do they see gives them the best chance to meet their goals, whatever they are? Just because he decided on Grimes in the end doesn't mean he should have hired him earlier. He considered at least three guys and hired Grimes. Was Grimes his first choice? I don't know, but the fact that he interviewed other people doesn't mean that he didn't compare them and decide Grimes was who he wanted. It also doesn't mean somebody else didn't turn im down, which again is neither troubling nor unusual. There is nothing strange or unusual about that in any business.

With the addition of TR & RG [fingers crossed] I myself will be hyped about the direction more so than I already am.. If not it just wont be what Gus is looking for! Gus bus baby!
