We would like to think that President Gogue and Jay Jacobs would not lead this coaching staff on and lead them to believe that they will be back. It is time for someone in charge, Gogue or Jacobs, to tell the staff and the fans that there will be a change or not. The administration is making themselves, the coaches, and Auburn look foolish by not making a statement, one way or the other. I get the impression that Auburn is being run by amateurs.

They are many business leaders on the board. Can any of us imagine dealing with performance and personel issues the way it is being done at Auburn? No wonder the Auburn athletics operation is a failure. Donald Trump would handle this in about a New York second.

No, but not sit there and bold-face lie to their face and say matter-of-factly they will be here when they know damn well they won't be. I'm speaking for Chizik of course. Some of the other coaches may be retained....I dunno the possibility or who, but there is a chance.

As a business leader, I agree with your initial issue/rhetorical question regarding performance and personnel issues and the AU program. However, I don't consider "The Donald" to be an exemplary leader of a complex organization. Yes, he is very rich and clearly entertaining. But he is not what I would catagorize as the flexible type of patient leader that can be decisive when necessary that is required in a true high pressure business setting or a high profile academic setting such as this one. Just my two cents and no offense to the Trump fans out there.
