I enjoyed your rebuttal. It was sane and succinct...something they apparently are not aware of existing down here.( I blame UT and UAT fans for poor reprensentation of the SEC). The rather long-winded "fishduck" reminds me of Shane on the PF show with his need to impress and his desire for accolades from the wide-eyed duck flock...good job.

I've spent some time on their boards. They call us, the SEC, arrogant then post crap like that. This guy obviously never played football and hasn't watched much either. What they don't realize is the reason the SEC has won the last 4 NCG's is speed and aggressive play. I know they have RB's, WR's and DB's who run track and they have small but superbly conditioned Linemen(they all told me so) but some how they got the idea all our linemen are about as mobile as trees. This could be fun

You have to think....If Fairley is in the minds of the O coaches for just a fraction of the time that he occupies with the O fanbase, ....has he not already won? Has the fear of the monster caused more actual damage than the monster could have ever delivered?

I wish I could share the confidence of SWG. In my limited viewing of OR, I see an amazingly fast team on both sides of the ball. We have a well-known weakness in the DB, especially defending against the pass.

Unless one of the teams self-destruct, I expect a high scoring close games. The referenced FL-OSU game recently is not a fair comparison for this one.

In any event, if we come out ahead at the final whistle I will be thrilled beyond my imagination. WAR EAGLE!!

We definitely have their attention and they are worried about their smallish players. There was a post on another board quoting a former bama OL. He pointed out with the Iron Bowl on the line in the fourth quarter how many of the bama skill players were banged up on the bench. Said it was a bad omen for the ducks.

I'm going to be the 6ft tall white guy in the cam newton jersey. I'll be easy to spot.
