Kinda reminds me of Yeldon, who was also a 5 star we got to commit to us early and....we all know what happened with TJ.
But this is a new day and a new bus and we got some really good 'cruitin coaches to boot. I feel pretty good about Thomas at this point.

Sounds great to me plus with Al and AU likely his top choice we should be in great shape. They will likely gget Bo and we will get Roc.

I would love to have him over Bo, he seems like a great kid who really understands what Auburns trying to do and wants to be apart of it so people lets not compare this one to yeldon or RF because I believe this one is going to be total different , Our coaches actually are better than CGC and Company and then on top of that we have a whole yr to make this kid to see that Auburn is the right school period!!!!!WDE

With the number of running backs Alabama took this year (4) and Bo Scarbourgh already committed in 2014, I don't see Racean Thomas going to Alabama. We need to make him a top overall recruiting priority and it looks like we are doing that. The is a stud and will contribute immediately in this offense!

Yes, Alabama does have the attraction of recent natonal championships and does get a fair share. But not all. The rest go to other leadng schools including Auburn, with it's own attraction. Auburn's coaching staff was built by the man who when faced with a 24 point deficit early in a game, won 28 to 27. We may not see magic in that strength often, but that magic is not all gone. Worry some Tide.

The statement about "how the coaches treat me and the things they do for me" just doesn't sound quite right to me. Maybe I am reading too much into it.

Ya know, I see several mention TJ. For some reason I'm now thinking not so terribly toward him. Maybe we all were tooled, dissed, fooled by him & lil nicky. OR, maybe, just maybe TJ was smart enough to see through the crap that our beloved AU had become. Is that possible, or am I just being wwwaaaayyy too forgiving here?

We can't not put time into recruiting someone just bc he could be the next Yeldon.
If Gus puts the press on this kid, I like our chances. Refer back to the story PM posted about Freeze and Ole Miss and their success when they make kids a priority.
Bottom line: we get this ship turned around on the field this year and ANYTHING is possible with ANY recruit.

Here we go again. Cue the déjà vu. This kid a a true bammer. Will be shocked if his fax comes across our line. I don't care if he brandishes a huge chest tattoo of AU or claims dying allegiance to all things Orange and Blue, he is a bammer.
