I went to the Iron Bowl today, YOU probably did not. Most of you didn't,

First, If you sold you ticket to a Bama supporter, or say this, if you sold them NOT KNOWING who would eventually get them, They certainly fell into the hands of Bama fans. All the happy horse manure in the world about "I was sick", "my dog was sick", "it's too cold" etc dont mean diddly to me. If money is an issue, don't buy the damn tickets to start with.
The normally "Auburn sections" were at least 50/50, some of them were 2/3rds or better Alabama fans, Shame on you. I hope you lose your priority with tickets when this ship gets put back upright, and it will,
Most Bama fans were fine, what can they say? They stopped just short of feeling sorry for us, I don't expect them to, I wouldn't do it for them. Even they Bammers were very blase' today, Some sections had fringes of empty in them and about every 10th to 11th seat was empty, or so. Hard for them to get excited about something as pathetic as us.

You know, when things are down, when you cannot do anything at all and the odds are against you, DO SOMETHING, It's one of Shug's 7 d's of Success, "Damn it Anyway".
Apparently Chizik ingested the Auburn Creed and failed on many other "Guides of Auburn" that we hold dear. What I mean is : Try something new, fake a punt, why not a an onside kick, triple reverse.......No when Chizik is NOT going to certainly going to be our coach tomorrow, he chose mediocrity today, and that is just not acceptable.

I went to my first game in 1970, The Auburn-Miss St game at Legion Field and I can't recall feeling so badly about what happened in a game, This is my 22nd Iron Bowl and I've never felt there was such a chasm between us and our Arch Rival. I am looking forward to this week and the FUTURE that is coming. I hope you are too!!

  • I glad YOU made it too the game. I, however, am presently stationed overseas serving in the military and could not make it. Hope that suffices as a good enough "horse manure excuse" for you, on second thought, I don't really care if it is. I appreciate you supporting the team especially with a dismal outcome almost inevitable and your loyal support for many years, however, there is no reason to fault fellow Auburn fans if they did not make it too the game. if they sold their ticket for what ever reaason who are you to chastise them. It is their right to do so and do not need your approval.

  • Well giver yourself a Bozo button. You are obviously a sadomasichist. I don't blame a single auburn fan for soaking a bammer fan and avoiding the crap that you call a football team. It is the only satisfaction they have probably had all season. Get over yourself.

  • I was there. I've been to a whole lot of AU v AL games and never thought I would be disinterested after 1 quarter. This was the worst coaching job in SEC history. Screw Bama! Hunker down hairy Dawgs!

Thanks for serving us, I am free because you do what you do. I was OBVIOUSLY NOT talking about you, my friend. Your service is important, mine is not
