Coach Chizik's recruiters are doing great. Hope someone is noticing besides the friends north and west of Auburn.
Bryan, I noticed that Jason Smith was called an athlete rather than quarterback. Does this imply anything other than he can play more than one position well enough to enjoy recruiting attention at many positions?
Some are suggesting that with success at Vandy, Franklin will go elsewhere. Isn't it possible that Vandy administration may change their thinking, and Vandy may be interested in the return of the Red Sanders days of glory, and money. Vanderbilt was once a very strong program. Some of their bowl victories have our name as opponent and it wasn't very close.

Sorry if this has already been done, but I got to thinking about how JW compares to TY.

6'1" - 212 6'1" - 201
1,546 rushing yds as a Jr. 1,112 rushing yds as a Jr.
18 touchdowns as a Jr. 18 touchdowns as a Jr.
17 receptions / 162 yds - Jr. 34 receptions / 504 yds - Jr.
Bottom line, I feel like we have replaced the guy who flipped on us last year, PLUS he's already trending better. I think T.Y. had a great Senior year because of how the coaches used him. It seems to me that JW has more ability. Let's see how he's used this fall.

A sobering thought. Saban wasn't rercruting Wilkins because he felt that he didn't need him. Chizik and Company are doing very well. But, they aren't quiet there yet. That's what the man says and I believe. And it's not so much bull in a lot of words which many seem to improperly ascribe to Gene Chizik giving them reason to criticize a man unlike a few we haven't seen since Pat Dye, and could be before, Pat Dye, arrived. Fans!!!

Great pickup, IF all sign in 2013 we are currently at 85. Now we will need some attrition to help our numbers, so we can get around 22 I am guessing.
