Is Scott related to Jim Fountain that played for Auburn in the early to mid 60's. Believe he was from Brewton also. Bet he is.

Jim is his uncle. I am from East Brewton and was coached by all the Fountains and worked for Hugh. GREAT bunch of people.

Thanks Phillip. I really enjoy these articles giving us a little insight into the coaches, the type of person they are and a bit about where they came from, how they ended up here at AU. The one thing I like the most is that they all seem to project the same "family" feeling about the coaching staff. WDE

Yes it is good to know what kind of character is coaching Auburn Athletes. It's especially good to know that many have been together in the past and they know enough about their associates that the coordnators won't have to do the position coaches job, and the position coach can work hard at being the best in the business. What is again especially good is that Coach M alzahn is aviding all the errors that some of is predecessorxs have made, errors that are inexcuseable.
