Not using the bench press in absolutely ridiculous. I'm sorry it just gives too many advantages to not use it and the mere fact that the NFL uses it in the combine should cause any college trainer to use it. Why? Because, it could cost them money if they have a terrible bench performance. Ask Neiko Thorpe when he was trying to pull down Trent Richardson if the bench wouldn't not have helped him at least slow him down some.
