Auburn people feel a deep and passionate responsibility to uphold standards not written on paper, but lived from the heart.
Coach Lolley is an excellent coach. He represents Auburn University in a very positive way and his players really like him. If Chizik thinks he should be on this staff then that is good enough for me. There is no way he is going to put somebody on the field or in the pressbox that doesn't give Auburn the best chance to win. Lolley has been here with Chizik for three years. I firmly believe he knows the guy can coach and that is why he retained him to begin with.
Phillip - Would you have any idea if Chizik talked to Anderson any last year letting him know of the interest if Malzahn would have left? Just curious as if he had Anderson at the top last year and there was a possibility of Malzahn leaving, maybe he "tested the waters" per say with Anderson a little last year.
One would think logic would say that if Anderson was on top last year, then he should be this year seeing as how Greg Davis was also available after the end of last season, as well as the fact the Southern Miss had another great season. However, I know things can change...
I hope that your assessment on Lolley is in fact true. I disagree, but I would love nothing more than for the corners to prove me wrong in 2012 and for them to look great. If the perception is wrong, then we'll soon see if is coaching next year. I'm more than willing to admit I was wrong if the corners look great in 2012.
Can one of you Lolly doubters get me in to practice next year? I only got to see a few tgis year so its tougher for me to be as sure as you guys that Lolly is not doing a good job coaching. TIA
