This explains his coffee consumption - I remember a comment from a player a couple years ago that he drinks coffee all day, every day. Maybe we should put a Starbucks in the Athletic Complex and JHS.
Gus did say that he was going to take "his" time, not everybody else's time. Looks like he is already under-promising and over-delivering, you can't ask for much more than that.
I just feel sorry for the poor piece of gum that is getting the hell chewed out of it right now.
There is a starbucks right across the street from JHS in the student center, he should be covered. GA's can bring it to him, that is what they are for

At the press conference lastnight, Jay Jacobs said that "it's going to take some time to fix it", what? Why didn't you let Chizik work out his 3 years remaining on the contract which is estimated to be 7.5 million. No, the so called committee hired someone else, paying them 2.5 million a year for the next five years! Over the next three years, we have paid 15 million dollars to Chizik and Malzahn. Jay Jacob, and Scrooge the President needs to be the ones fired!! We have some of the dummest leader ever!!

I would think that CGM would nail down his coordinators first, then get with them to determine both who they would like to pursue and how well they would fit with the schemes CGM wants to use. I think CGM probably has his OC in his hip pocket and is after the best DC he feels is available and would work in his system. I don't know how old EJ is, but as long as he can stay up to date on offenses, he may well work out fine. Heck, I'm sure I'm older than he is, and I still think I could run with the young bucks in coaching - though I may be a little prejudiced - and probably wrong!
