PM- Do we know what other schools may be targeting Ellis? Obviously he is going to get a lot of looks for open DC positions. Would be great to lock him up quickly. Like everyone else, I love the speed with which Gus is moving on this. Gotta nail down those 5-stars on the defensive side!

4-2-5. 4 down linemen 2 LBs 5 DBs. Basically a nickle type package. Very effective if you have the right personel

Malzahn wasn't my first choice, but he is holding this class together and now he's working on hiring a top notch DC. I'm getting pumped!

Yeah, one of your db's is basically a hybrid, almost like a lb/s. I think that was called a spur at usc. Darren Bates would have been perfect for that role. Not overly big, has some db skills, a little more size... way aggressive.
