Just do what I did. Turn it over and watch golf or something else. As long as ESPN is allowed to promote their own agenda it's going to continue but there's nothing anyone can do about it. The coaches know it's wrong and unfair but they can't complain without being villified.

I may be wrong, but I just don't let things like Saban being on ESPN bother me. So what?? I would be surprised if Chizik was "worried" that Saban was on gameday and not him...I say we as Auburn people should worry about what Auburn does and can control, and not concern ourselves with what Bama is doing.

My point is that Auburn is above whining about getting equal time on gameday.

I'm concerned that our wholesome and statesmanlike attitude in dealing with the Updykes is like the British were in fighting the Indians. Yes the British were brave and tough and fought nobly, but the Indians had a different kind of warfare -- darting through the trees and fighting from unseen areas. The British had to adjust, departing from the honorable and customary way to fight. They soon learned that they had to change their tactics to be successful. The Updykes have the mafia mentality and employ every underhanded trick known to man to get ahead of all others and especially AU. When AU rises, they attack from behind the trees -- Cam Newton issue in place for nearly a year but quiet until just before the AU/Updyke game. Of course there was no public information that showed this was associated with the Updykes. But the REC is always lurking, working behind the scenes. The Eric Ramsey case was orchestrated to create the maximum damage on the AU season with media releases of new twists to the case before every AU game. They lock up recruits that are committed to AU in their attempt to flip them so as to prevent any access to them before signing day. The Updykes gave $1/2 million to the school of one prospect who eventually signed with them to "upgrade their athletic facilities." The school of another AU commit who they flipped (using the recruit's family as a "tree" to hide behind) suddenly received $1/2 million to "upgrade facilities" from an "unnamed source."
Nothing evil about the ESPN appearance. I suspect, however, that the event was instigated as a part of an Updyke plan to gain public exposure to accomplish its purpose.
