When Auburn comes out of the gates 2 and 0, they will be in their top 15. After a 4 and 0 start, the top 5. 5-0 top three. Our play will decide our place, not some BSPN BSdiction.

The poll makes a statement IMO about what bspn thinks of our coaches and our program in general - second rate. They are still thinking 5-19 coach and that our NC was a fluke because of Cam (the official updyke view). I can't remember if we were ranked after the bowl game last year because it has been more than three days ago, but our performance on the field last year was not the type that should garner much respect. The poll, however, includes several teams who were pretty weak last year also. They are in the poll because of who they are (See Ohio State, Florida, Texas, and Notre Dame).

If we can't crack the top 25 with the talent we have, our schedule, and the coaches on staff, it will be a very disappointing year. To me, it is great news that we are not showing up on the radar. In the past, we have been pretty good when we start in nowheresville. Nothing motivates like disrespect!
