Also, no true Auburn man would continuously talk about Coach Dye with such vulgar disrespect. You certainly don't hear true updykes disparage "the bahr" and he had many more indiscretions than CPD.

    Well said, 94 TigerBand! I am thinking that a lot of what gets on this board is planted by UAT fans, or is planted and influenced by the crap on Fine Bla, including coach Dye, it seems. That's sad; that he'd go on there as he does. Great Point about name calling. There is no perfect coach. We are talking about running a football team, not being Pope, for gosh sakes! All is not lost forever; let's grow a pair and act like we can take it. We play Sat. where they know how to dish it out. This is for pride, the players and the fans. As Shug used to say, "the sun will come up Sunday". Then we go to work and get better. There is no alternative and we will be better in the future. So get over one bad season and move on.

  • I agree with Dye about Petrino. I am not a Dye apologist. However, everybody is focused on the character issue with Petrino but lets look at his coaching accomplishments. Great offensive mind but what has he truly accomplished? His teams were competitive but no national titles, no sec titles and his defenses ranked toward the bottom of the sec. Can't win consistently without good defense. Just my opinion.
