He's maybe a little immature, but really he's just having fun, not realizing that we all take this so seriously.

I'm not sure if that makes him look bad or us?

I saw some quotes from him today where he talked about Auburn's in-home visit on Thursday. Asked who was going, he said, "Coach (Gene) Chizik, my position coach, Coach (Tracy) Rocker and the defensive coordinator, coach Ted Roof".

"My position coach". He also notes a friend contacting him recently and reminding him to not do things to "please others", but only "do things for the Lord". To me, going to Georgia would please the most people.

Could mean nothing. Could me something.

Today I have gone from Drew being 50/50 to Auburn, then 100% to Georgia, and now back to 50/50 Auburn.

We'll see.

Who is worse:

The kid who simply writes stuff as his status on his own face book account/twitter?

The grown people who judge them on everything they do and say in their free time amongst friends?

This is an 18yr old high school kid. Of course he is immature. He is supposed to be. He isn't paying bills, going to a job every morning, and nor has he experienced all the things we often take for granted. In the computer world, it is easy to forget this sometimes. I am sure he is a great kid that is simply sick of everyone messing with him all the time. I can't really say I blame him. Only so much you can take before you don't take anything seriously any more. I am sure he is a heck of an athlete as well and we wouldn't be recruiting him if that wasn't the case. I hope he picks Auburn. Suit me just fine.

You know what my feelings on this is WHO CARES he can have all the fun he wants who wants an arrogant attitude like that on their team their is no I in team so what if he's a beast of a defensive end WHO CARES now with that being said I will be glued to the radio Friday morning just like the rest of the ones complaining about his attitude hoping he chooses Auburn LOL just like he wants us to do so stop fooling yourselves saying we don't need him that's a lie not only do we need him we want him if we wasn't so crazy about recruiting he wouldn't be giving us a show he's only doing what we're allowing him to do so good luck Drew wherever u go you're gonna be a star just hope its at Auburn!

IMHO, I believe Drew is a silent commit to Auburn and he's just having fun with the whole thing. He's gonna go where he feels most comfortable. He's said he knows he'll play at a good program and they'll all provide a good education but it's the relationship with those around him that matters most. IIRC correctly, he enjoyed meeting some guys during Big Cat Weekend II, including Kiehl Frazier who said recently to expect some surprises. IMHO, the coaches have everything planned out. They know how to sell their product to not only recruits, but the CFB world.

I agee with AUhomer. You people sound like the UAT folks after Spencer Region announced he was going to Auburn (they never wanted him anyway; he wasn't any good anyway; etc.). Just let it play out. If the coaches want him, I want him. If we get him, great; if we do not, we live with it!

As I scanned down an read over the hypocrisy of all the comments I snickered. The ones that use words like arogant and self important are posting on here for the same reasons. They will also be the ones to cheer the loudest if he comes to Auburn. This wesite only exist because of young men like him and our hunger for any morsel of knowledge or insite into who "we" will get to sign at Auburn. "We" don't do any of the work, the coaches do. "we" can only cheer when these young men take the field and live out our dreams. Most on here need to simply grow up and show the class that they talk about these young men needing have to represent "our" university.

I highly doubt that...unless Drew did something that the Auburn coaches really really didn't like.
