I am certain that the sunshine pumpers will down vote me in masses, because I am not confident we’ll close great this season in recruiting. It does not matter. If Auburn's coaches cannot get a few of our top recruits to commit by Saturday, then don't expect a good day on Wednesday. A Big Time Silent commitment does us no good. We need some momentum going into NSD. Auburn's problem this year with closing strong will be that CGC waited way too long to bring in our coordinators. I don't care how good these hires were; CGC dropped the ball, took too much time and took the excitement out of these hires. I think we will have a couple of surprises, but for one reason or another Auburn has had no excitement to build on in recruiting. That's how this recruiting game is played. Top recruits get excited to commit where other top recruits are committing. Auburn has not had a Big Time Commitment in what seems to be an eternity. They have had BIG TIME departures. THIS HOPING for a Big NSD does not seem possible. I want to get all excited about NSD. I really do, but we have taken way to much BS since winning the NC and IMO let it impact our swag.

I agree. I really believe that Auburn made some great hires but too late in the game. Maybe with the hires recruits can get a better idea in the direction Auburn is going and we can get some big time recruits to join all in.

I can't see it. These recruits are not that tied into a system or coach. If it was only about the coordinators why didn't we have 10 de commits. Some of these high profile players just don't handle the final phase of the recruitment game well. If the coordinators were a huge issue we would have had to start over from scratch.
