Notre Dame stumbles again in handling Manti Te'o story - ESPN

No matter how many precedents show the dangers of blindly idolizing football programs, they never seem to diminish the ability of schools to repeat integrity-sapping mistakes.

After Pat Forte published his I believe the ND AD because he is a good man piece. I wrote him to ask one question. If this was Miami, Penn St, USC or Auburn and the AD had come out with a we investigated and everybody is completly "innocent of anything except being too kindhearted" would you have bought it?
It was obviously a rhetorical question and as expected I got no reply.
