My girlfriend got me this subscription through the magazine. The magazine is actually worth while. I would never subscribe to their lack of an insider with my own money. In any event, here's their "article."
Auburn commit considering Penn State
11:55 AM ET
Penn State will have an the opportunity to truly make a splash in recruiting circles if it can flip one particular Auburn commit.
"(Trey) Johnson (Lawrenceville, Ga./Central Gwinnett) committed to Ted Roof last August and Roof liked him on the inside, but new Defensive Coordinator Brian Van Gorder likes him on the outside," Chad Simmons of Scout.com wrote. "Johnson is still a strong AU commit, but he does plan to visit other schools. Penn State is one he is considering because of his connection to Roof."
The odds of Johnson flipping at this juncture -- particularly after the sanctions Penn State were placed -- are minimal. But the possibility exists, and the ESPN 150 linebacker clearly has some interest in the Nittany Lions to even consider a visit.
Again, unless I hear something from BM or PM, I would put NO stock into anything ESPN and their lack of recruiting has to say. But since someone asked, I figured I'd copy/paste it. For what's it worth, there ya go.
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
"you're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you, don't you? Don't you?"
