Not that stars are everything but this commitment makes me wonder how strongly we will finish if we are taking such a(rated Auburn's third lowest player) low rated player this late in the process.

How's his 40 time? and where can I find tape on him? he has 3stars as a corner, what is his rank at receiver? which we have a lot of already, we are a running offense right?

Echoing my thoughts. Hopefully this time next year we won't be getting exciting about filling out the class with middle of the road 3 stars.

Again ...
Where a prospect is rated by any recruiting service does not mean that is where he is rated by Auburn's coaches. A lot of people saw this kid as a cornerback. They see him as a slot receiver. They don't care how many stars he has.

There are some 2 and 3 star players that are exceptions but go back and look at Auburns starters over the last ten years. Most of the starters are 4 stars.I have been following this for 30 years. The odds are if we are taking this kid means we are not holding out for a lot of the top players . I hope I am wrong but experience tells me I am not.

WDE!!!!! Most NFL players were 3-4 stars, all depends on their work effort, development, and desire to become the best they can be, I think we have the right staff to make alot of these kids dreams come true. Thanks PM on the great news......I like how our coaches evaluate the kids rather than listening to other recruiting sources. Stars don't mean crap, see the Senior Bowl, some of these kids out there never heard of or seen before, but played better than the names we knew. I mean I couldn't stand watching Oklahoma's QB, he was down right awful, think his stock went down after his showing he couldn't handle simple non-blitzes schemes. But he was always praised and was, coming out of high school, considered to be one of the best QB's to be recruited. Anyways, lol War Damn Eagle to the old and the new family members soon to join a great school.
