Well, one possible angle to consider is that in the past we've gotten all liquored up because someone was rumored to have favored us. Then we were jumping off buildings when it didn't happen. Maybe our guys have decided to go the other way this year and not put a positive spin on some of these recruiting battles just to cut down on the mass suicide on signing day.

FSU seems to be the team to beat for every big target left! Maybe we can get one or two of them. Darby NO, Arik NO, Darby NO, Diggs and Patterson are our best two shots IMO. Give our coaches a lot of credit for being in on these type guys!! We should end up with a top 10 class or close to it. With replacing both OC and DC thats pretty good where I come from. Again, good job coaches!

The truth is that this is recruiting, and no one knows for sure where these kids are going to go. Two years ago everyone was reporting Corey Lemonier to FSU, but we all know how that turned out. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see any of Darby, Goldman, Diggs, Armstead, or anyone else announce for AU on NSD.

Being a realist gets you down voted I've found. I agree with your thoughts unfortunately. We might get a surprise, but I have a bad feeling we don't land any of the five stars. I still think we land a pretty solid class. I'd be happy bringing in Williams, Watson, Moore, and a couple of others.

Unfortunately, I agree with the OP. I don't think we get any of the 5* players and we MAYBE get Williams and Alexander.

I like so many here have a bad feeling,so I guess I am a "glass half empty" guy. I am afraid AU will be left grabbing at 3 stars, and maybe a 4 star or two like the lineman in FL. So much for the talking heads saying last year that this should be the year winning the nat'l championship pays off in recruiting.

I think with us being so young and returning a great deal of the 2 deep on both sides of the ball is hurting this year. We have plenty of talent on the team right now, we need to for sure fill our needs and hope that we pick up some of these guys we are in the hunt for. As Brian always says, this is big boy recruiting. War Eagle!!!
