Dameyune Craig serious candidate for job at Auburn

Dameyune Craig, who shattered passing records and led Auburn to the Southeastern Conference Championship Game in 1997, is a serious candidate to join the staff of first-year head coach Gus Malzahn as wide receivers coach.
Craig has been the quarterbacks coach at Florida State since 2010. He coached wide receivers at South Alabama in 2008 and 2009 and was offensive coordinator at Tuskegee in 2006 and 2007. He was a graduate assistant at LSU in 2004 and a special teams coach for the Miami Dolphins in 2005.

I had the pleasure of watching the 2007 SEC championship game, Craig had such a good arm. With the exception of Cam, I still believe Dameyune is the most talented QB to ever play at Auburn. It's a shame he had so little (developed) talent around him, he willed that team to the western division championship.

Wow, this would be AUsome.....would not miss a beat in recruiting prowess with DC replacing TT. Is it possible he could be named "recruiting coordinator" as well? Isn't he the RC at FSU now?

I remember when some sports reporter made the comment that he didn't know what Terry Bowden's salary was but he should give half of it to DC. He has turned into a great recruiter and has given us and the bammers fits. Come home DC
